Abstract
The flutter problem in aeronautical structures is not a new one: it became more and more important as the aircraft speed increased but it cannot be disregarded even in slow flying aircraft particularly when structural stiffnesses are low...... At the present time no adequate criteria are available in this field and of course the designer is not expected to face flutter compiutations, always expensive and time consuming; it is nevertheless important that he knows the problem,...
