Abstract
Although gliding is a most attractive sport, the problem of training glider pilots quickly and efficiently has not been solved and this has seriously restricted the expansion of the gliding movement and has discouraged many educational and industrial concerns from giving active support to the gliding movement..... Problems are identified and solutions are sugggested.
