Abstract
A rational investigation is developed towards the clarification of the main effects which the masses set along the control sysem, their position, their arms and gear ratios can produce on the dynamic stability 'stick free' of a sailplane in the particular case of the 'all moving tail'... General indications are then derived in order to fulfill the pilot's request for and adequate stick force per 'g' gradient and, at the same time, to prevent undamped (or insufficiently damped) longitudinal short period oscillations.
